Well, it has been a while since I last posted. The main reason is I have been going through all the code from my flock addons, getting all the good bits, discarding all the crap bits (except geoFlock) and rolling it all together in ‘Flock Blog Plus’.
Basically, this extension aims to answer some of the ‘wants’ in the flock forum/comments for the blog editor that I felt Flock inc would not deem core.
Heres a quick and dirty screencast of an early version on youtube, or a high res version on my addon site:
There is a slight change to that shown, which is the Preset Styles sidebar. Rather than restricting to just Style properties, I have extended it to create, edit and store id, class and title as well. The main reason for this is microformats. With this extension, you simply set up and store all the microformat elements you want, select the text and apply the preset markup. This is not as quick as a one touch button I first investigated with ‘heads’ but allows far more flexibility for the future (not hardcoded, unlimited markup possibilities) whilst still maintaining productivity. I have kept in the quite complicated hCalendar though.
This is for Danphe, afraid not possible to make for Cardinal.
