After I created a Yahoo! Pipes feed for Barcamp Scotland which utilises content tagged in Technorati, Flickr, YouTube and Slideshare, I really liked playing with this excellent service and have now created a search pipe. This Search Pipe allows you to query this feed.

Further more, I have also turned this into a browser search plugin for Firefox, flock and IE7. Click here to go get it. I think the power of Pipes as a search angine, with the ability to search from your browsers searchbar could be awesome, and am going to create a small directory of other search pipes over at http://pipes.spatialviews.com.

On the 12^th day of Christmas, my true love sent to me…..well, not Christmas and not my true love but at least Apple have now finally shipped my notebook on the 12th day since ordering. Only another 10 to go for estimated delivery

Not that anyone is remotely interested, but it is now 11 days since I first placed the order for my Macbook Pro and it still HASN’T EVEN SHIPPED YET!.

In their defense, rang up customer support and they are going to try and get this sorted and out the factory.

Grr again……..

Man this sucks. Just got an email from Apple saying that the macbook will be built in the next 3 days, ship on the 16th with a delivery estimate of 26-27th February. WTF.

That SUCKS bigtime, and without a notebook not going to be able to go to BarCamp. Even if it does arrive in 13-14 days time (!) doesn’t leave me much time to become familiar with it and prepare for the 3rd March.

Hmm, hope switching gets better than this, took less than week to get my Dell from start to finish, looking like a total of 19 days since I placed the actual order with Apple.
